2019 marks the 49th anniversary of Atlanta’s Pride celebration held every October in Piedmont Park. This year 325,000 are expected to attend. Join Gregg as he and Jamie Fergerson, Executive Director of The Atlanta Pride Committee, discuss the history of Atlanta’s Pride from its humble beginnings the year after the Stonewall Riots when all that occurred was a group of people handing out flyers up through 2019’s event which features more than 300 booths at the park, a huge parade on Sunday with over 350 floats, 3 separate marches on Saturday, tons of parties and much more.
