Life In a Sex Commune

June 2, 2020

Gregg interviews Katia Cool who spent 17 years living with a female partner in what many would describe as a “sex commune”. Officially named Lafayette Morehouse, the group describes themselves as an “intentional community” where members are invited to live together in open relationships and experiment with sex and intimacy outside of any traditional primary relationship they may be in. The group has been going strong since 1968 and Katia’s experiences there demonstrate how to live an intentional life free from the constraints of societies constructs around sex and gender identity. Her story is both fascinating and quite touching as she met, lived with, and split from someone who she still describes as possibly the love of her life. Definitely worth the listen.
